| Showcasing a special Pinoy talent in Japan |
|
Based on information available on the web, there were about more than 220,000 Filipinos living in Japan in 2008, making up the fourth-largest foreign community in the Land of the Rising Sun. Pinoys in Japan come from practically all walks of life, with most trying their best in their fields. But as always, there will be certain individuals whose stars will shine brighter when given the opportunity. One such special talent is part-Pinoy Amelia Aemi LittleRiver, who has to overcome health issues and financial challenges on her way to becoming an accomplished and popular rhythm and blues (R and B) singer and songwriter. Aemi wrote and sang her original Japanese composition for her initial MTV shot which was recorded and released in Osaka, Japan. Aemi LittleRiver is but one of the many prodigious Pinoys and Pinays who have showcased their artistic and musical prowess in Japan thru the years.
