| Dust Castles: Play on Faith, Hope, and Dreams on Solid Ground |
|
Now that summer is almost here, fun time usually includes forays to the beach or shore and building sand castles, which sometimes get transformed by the winds into dust castles. And talking about sand castles (kastilyong buhangin in Pilipino) as a bridge from reality to drama, there is an upcoming play entitled Dust Castles. (Video from youtube.com; posted by tienett 01.14.09) Dust Castles is the saga of 8 childhood friends, filled with faith and hope, who dared to dream and pursue their goals. But it turns out life had something else for them.Lessons on the various aspects of live and love can be gained from this play. The play, which is proudly presented by the Pan American Concerned Citizens Action League, Inc. (PACCAL), is scheduled for Saturday (2:00 PM) on May 30, 2009 at Five Corners Library Auditorium in Jersey City, NJ. |
