Boracay: Bora Bora and the Caymans in one package?

The white sandy beaches of Boracay island, part of Aklan province in Western Visayas, are now a leading world-class tourist destination in the Philippines.

No longer just a backpacker's secret hideaway, Boracay beach has been arguably recognized as one of the best in Asia, if not the world.

It may just be coincidence but even the name of the island - Boracay - reminds us of and is suggestive of the kind of beach fun and excitement as can be experienced in the top romantic destination: Bora Bora in the South Pacific and the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean. With modern amenities complementing the natural beauty of the island plus the world-renowned Filipino hospitality, it would not be too farfetched to say that the Boracay experience can indeed be Bora Bora and the Caymans in one package.
