To the provincefolk of Camarines Sur, Caramoan island has long been regarded as "paradise". But as is the case when the word is out, the scoop on the innate beauty of Caramoan has spread far and wide, with the stimulus being it featured as a location setting for an episode of the French version of "Survivor", the reality TV show.

Parts of the Caramoan National Park include the Gota Beach section and the caves Big Gota and Little Gota. To highlight the extent to which the crew of the show were enamored, some of them  considered staying in the Caramoan islands even  beyond the duration of the filming period.
